bowerbird at his bower
The Bowerbird is an Australian Native bird. The male bird collects blue 'treasures', found objects such as bottle caps, straws, flowers... to decorate his bower. These items are almost always blue.
The girl bird flies from bower to bower inspecting the collections on display before choosing her mate;
the guy with the best bower. Interestingly, this isn't the nest of the bird. The female will make her own nest later. The bower is just a courting area... a 'love shack' of sorts.

Now, I've been fluttering about the web checking out everyone's
 collections of lovely things. Hence the blog name 'Bowerbird.'
I also like that it's particularly Australian.  ~*carla*
