Oh my goodness, I'm completely smitten by the flowers and the below shoot from Sunday Suppers. I want to have a party that looks as beautiful as this! And how wonderful that it's spring this week. Can't wait for the warmer days and entertaining outdoors.

All the recipes for this "Ladies Lunch" available from Sunday Suppers.

Paper Cranes

Hello, I found the lovely blog Polli the other day... and Sone's amazing post about Ukraine Artist Nataliya Kuzil. Look at her paper crane art installation,
oh so inspiring...

That'll do & Happy weekend...

... well those few posts are about as much as I can manage through this haze of sickness. For now, enjoy the rest of your week and happy weekend...

how cool is this raindrop wallpaper? Via fffound & Here Comes the Sun.

The most wonderful time of the year...

... Springtime is just around the corner. Next week in fact - hooray!
I struggle through winter every year and am oh-so-excited when things slowly begin to warm up. Daffodils pop up in my front garden and the days become longer and lighter. Oh and all of the spring fashions come into store. Yay.

Here's some new Arabella Ramsay for the season...

Can't wait to wear summery dresses again.

Lyn Gardner's 'The White House' house...

I love this cottage renovated by Empire Vintage owner Lynda Gardner. The 1890's brick miners cottage in Daylesford, Victoria is graced with 30s and 40's pieces, clawfood baths and chandeliers but all without being too overly pretty. I like the kitchen area the best with the chalkboard wall, rustic furniture and flashes of rich red and green.

If you have a special occasion coming up, Lyn has her cottage available to rent out for weekends away, click here for more details. Inspiration from Country Style Magazine and Design Sponge.

housewife...

... today I'm at home recovering from nasty food poisoning from some evil sushi. I'm very happy that I can acutally sit up and look at a computer today (yesterday was one of the sickest days of my life. I just couldn't move) although I do think, after a couple posts, I'm going to need another nap. Sooo exhausted.

I found this series the other day 'Housewife' by Julia Galdo and Cody Cloud for Antler magazine. It has a certain quietness & melancholy about it (& retro styling) which attracted me. See the whole series here.

Hearts and hands...

A little collection from some research I was doing for work
(oh and a couple of cute ones that weren't entirely related to work...)

...or maybe for days when you're feeling a little angry or gloomy... or just whenever. A cloud / lightning bolt necklace, love it!  From Fleur Ave's Esty shop.

Fireflies and garden gnomes...

This cute and quirky wedding invite found on this lovely blog caught my eye. I'm not a big fan of garden gnomes to be honest but I love the firefly jar, handwritten type and little illustrations throughout. Quite unique and clever don't you think?
