I feel a bit shy talking about myself... but if you're interested:

My first obsession as a child was 'love hearts'. My eyes were always drawn to heart shaped things or things with hearts on them
(and often still are)

I'm very girly l and love all things pretty

I was kicked out of ballet class as a child for daydreaming too often
(I still enjoy daydreaming quite a lot)

Despite being ever-so-girly I love getting outdoors, bushwalking and going away on camping trips. I find being out in nature so calming.

I'm a graphic designer by day. After spending 6 years in women's fashion, lifestyle and home magazines, (including Madison & Australian Home Beautiful) I moved out of the publishing world and into a boutique creative agency. It was great to trade in high-heels for sneakers but sometimes the demanding clients stress me out.

I'm married and live in a little townhouse in north-west Sydney.

I began Bowerbird to collate all of my inspiring finds from the internet and beyond. Whenever I saw anything that caught my eye I used to save it to a little folder on my desktop and there it would stay. As I began to read more and more blogs I thought I should start my own so I could share my finds with friends and pass on the inspiration. Much better than keeping it to myself in a folder.
